Universal Extractor is a program do to exactly what it says: extract files from any type of archive, whether it's a simple zip file, an installation program (like Wise or NSIS), or even a Windows Installer (.msi) package. This is the most advanced and the only one with a fully transparent development using a public GitHub-powered source code repository.
As the development of the original version has stopped and no update has been published for years, many forked (modified and maintained by the community) Universal Extractors have arised. Universal Extractor 2 or Universal Extractor (Bioruebe version) as it is also called to avoid confusion is an unofficial updated and extended version of the original UniExtract by Jared Breland.
